Vooz.co.kr was VOOZ's official website.

History[]

In 1999-2000, the Vooz.co.kr website was publicly launched. Around 2001, it had a flash animation section with flash animations which consisted of Pucca[2], Mura: Military Pigs[3], Animalcraft[4], and Dooby & Rooby.[5] Pucca had a total of 18 episodes, Mura had a total of 3 episodes, and Dooby & Animalcraft each had one animation. The .SWF files for these shorts can be found on the Internet Archive. The characters featured in the site's character gallery were Abyo, Animalcraft, Dogfight!, Dooby, Dory&Boogy, Metalion, Mura, Nei&Shu, Pucca, Pupu and Sideboy.[6] Despite Shoah having icons and presumably a banner[7] on the site, Shoah seems to have not been included in the section as seen in the screenshot of the site from 2001.

In 2003, the website would be revamped to have animated character profiles and synopses for Abyo: Dragon Boy, Animalcraft, Dooby, Mura: Military Pigs and Pucca. There was a new flash animation section in the "Content" section which consisted solely of Pucca animations, which were also avaliable on Puccaclub.[8] Additionally, there a 3D section which had two 3D Pucca shorts (Funny Skydiving and Deliver, Pucca!)[9][10] and a trailer for "Metalion"[11], possibly another 3D short added in 2004[12], and there was also a compilation a animation section.[13] The 2003 VOOZ website also had the Pucca music videos "Oasis" and "Time is Up".[14][15] The animated character profiles were not saved on the Internet Archive, and only screenshots of the 2003 site can currently be found. In 2006, new characters "Myo & Ga: The Life of a Hero" and "Mom~! Canimal: Can You Survive?" would also be added to have introductions on the website, appearing as the intro to the website[16], the Myo & Ga introduction promoting the Myo & Ga Club website.

In 2007, the website would once again be changed and the website now had a keyboard layout. The website now only had 3 character sections, "Myo & Ga: The Life of a Hero", "Mom~! Canimal: Can You Survive?", and Pucca. There would be seperate sections for Pucca, Mom~ Canimal: Can You Survive? and Myo&Ga which appeared as buttons on the keyboard.[17] A Canimal and Myo & Ga animation were added to the site.[18][19][20][21] The page contents and files for these two 2007 shorts were not saved on the Internet Archive, leading only the Canimal animation[22] able to be viewed as of now. The Myo&Ga short uploaded to the website is only partially found (screenshots of the short can also be seen on the Myo & Ga Club website[23]) and is currently considered partially lost media, at least to the general public, although there is a chance the short could be found in the future.

In 2009, the website became a redirect/mirror site for Puccaclub.[24]

Trivia[]

  • The website was the original home page of the Pucca flash shorts in 2001, and had a lot of the same flash shorts as the Puccaclub website in 2003 including the music videos "Oasis" and "Time is Up", but by 2007 Puccaclub was used as the main home page for Pucca flash shorts. However, the website continued to have mostly information on the Pucca franchise as the main IP of VOOZ.
    • The 2007 version of the site is presumably the only version of the site prior to the Puccaclub redirect that contained no Pucca flash shorts, although it may have had images from Pucca shorts being made around that time.
    • After the 2007 VOOZ website (which had one Myo&Ga and one Canimal animation) became a redirect domain for Puccaclub in 2009 and the site was later relaunched as it's own website, the website stopped having flash shorts entirely, and all the versions of the website after no longer had the promotional animations the site was previously known for.
  • Although it was presumably never added to the VOOZ site based on archives, a second Dooby flash short was distributed on other flash sites.[30]
    • The Canimal flash animations from 2006[31] may have also not been on the site.
