Stuck on Goo is the third segment of the seventh episode of the second season and the thirty-third overall episode of the Pucca television series. It first aired on June 12, 2008.
Synopsis[]
After a laundry incident, Garu and Tobe accidentally get stuck together back to back.
Plot[]
Garu and Tobe battle in a rain storm, well-matched and equally determined to win. By the time the clouds depart, they are both tired and filthy from their muddy fight. They postpone the battle and head to the town laundromat, letting Santa wash their clothes as they sit around in their underwear. Tobe fails to towel whip Garu and when Santa offers them candy while they wait, he angrily knocks the bowl from his hands. The candy canes end up in the dryer with their outfits, unnoticed by anyone, as Santa starts up the machine.
Once the ninjas have their clothing back, they rush to the street to continue their fight, only to notice their outfits are now sticky and taste of candy. Santa requests a chance to taste and Tobe slams the door on his face, but the force of this makes him stumble and he bumps into Garu, sticking them back to back. The boys struggle to separate, simultaneously trying to injure the other, but the elasticity of their clothes prevent them from coming undone. As the day grows late, they concede this can't be fixed for now and must decide where they will be sleeping that night.
They arrive to Tobe's base where his minions see Garu and immediately attack which mostly injures their boss. He tries to explain the situation, but their enthusiasm to defeat the pig-tailed ninja leads him to declare a truce with his enemy. This news shocks the ninjas-for-hire who lament that their lives have lost meaning. A different minion arrives to tell Tobe of their newest anti-Garu weapon which the boy can't be deflected from seeing. The weapon is a saw-blade-waving car and Tobe allows his minion to proceed with the test drive, only to watch him reverse right into their base. As it's reduced to rubble, Tobe suggests heading to Garu's place instead.
At Garu's house, the two are watching television, though Tobe must use a mirror to see around Garu's head. Mio wanders up to him and, overwhelmed by the cuteness, Tobe enjoys petting him until being caught by Garu. Embarrassed, he declares it time for bed and walks them both away.
The next morning, the ninjas awake beside one another and mutually agree to never speak of it again. They go about a morning routine — teeth brushing, breakfast, and even training — while noting their oddly impressive coordination. Things take a turn when Garu hears a tell-tale giggle and flies into a panic, unable to communicate to Tobe the incoming danger. He turns away just as Pucca comes in for a kiss which makes her smooch Tobe instead. She reels in disgust which is enough time for Garu to run, carrying a traumatized Tobe on his back.
Pucca chases the runaways through town, Garu relying on his own skills and that of Tobe to give the delivery girl the slip. When she does finally catch up, she only finds Tobe, back to some briars, as he declares Garu went the opposite direction. She heads off and Garu — covered with needles — is glad to have escaped un-smooched. Tobe remarks on how hard the pig-tailed boy has it but also admits that they make a really good team, a sentiment Garu agrees with. It begins to rain and they decide to make their way home together, now friends.
They turn to go, only to discover that the rain has loosened the stickiness enough that they finally pull apart from each other. Both boys are delighted by their returned independence, but Tobe has a moment of consideration to the loss of their connection. This moment is short, however, as the idea of vengeance is far more appealing and he gladly disregards their friendship for his dream of destroying Garu. The two ready to fight again, but are stopped by the arrival of Tobe's minions. They are glad to see their master free and against his warning, bury him in a dogpile of hugs.
Garu is pleased with this outcome and readies to depart, only to be jumped by Pucca. And what’s worse, because his clothes are still sticky, he is now stuck to her! The desperate ninja tries to escape, but he keeps rubber-banding back and getting kissed. He eventually gives up fighting it while Tobe shows to have a similar issue as he is now stuck in a big ball of his own ninjas.

- This is the second time that Pucca and Garu were stuck together, the first one being in "Them Bones".
- Tobe is shown to be noisy and messy when eating, mainly while chewing.
