Monk is the fourth and often the most absent from the Pirates. He is the fourth and only pirate member to be absent, despite being a secondary antagonist of Pucca: Love Recipe.

- Recent subtitles shown that Monk's name may be spelled as either "Munk" or "Mungk".
- On Wikipedia, his name was also spelled as "Munch".
- It is unknown why Monk didn't debut in Treasure Hunt, Finding Won, Villains, Unite, or Ring Ring the Cow, it could be two possibilities: He went back to the ship or stayed in jail for the rest of the series.
- Despite being a member of the pirates, he only worked with Captain, Bogo, and Punch in Winter in Sooga Island.
- Despite being a villain, he isn't necessary evil.
