Master Soo's Maidens are beautiful maidens that live with Master Soo. They love and are completely devoted to Master Soo. They usually don't speak like Pucca and Garu, but occasionally will, like in The Sooga Showdown. In Knock It Off!, they speak throughout the episode and seem to be in love with Abyo. The maidens also speak in Skip to My Loo, referring to Master Loo as "having no respect for anyone" after giving an offensive impression of Master Soo. One also asks, "Do you think Master Soo is, like, angry with us?" Most of the time when they are seen in episodes, they usually giggle as a response. It is shown in Datin' and Dumplins that anyone can become a maiden if they simply fall in love with Soo and Soo loves her back.
Apparently maidens are given a level of magic, like Yong, for example. And not every girl wearing the maiden outfit is necessarily a lover or devoted to him. In The Magic Duel, Pucca and Ring Ring train under Soo to learn magic for a competition with Master Kang's proteges. In return, he promised to teach them magic to win Garu's love. After winning, both girls are seen wearing the attire his maidens wear. So it’s clear Maidens can learn and perform magic and being his lover isn't required.
The maidens still serve him in Pucca: Love Recipe, but they aren't always seen by his side romantically like in the previous seasons. In Valentine's Day, Master Soo thought two of his maidens were making him chocolate, but it’s revealed at the end of the episode that they had made it for Santa. More importantly, they both claimed to be in love with him, much to Soo's shock.
Appearance[]
All of Soo’s maidens share the same design, with the exception of Kua (before she became a maiden) and Yong. They retain the same design in Netflix's Pucca: Love Recipe, with some minor alterations to their characteristics.
Trivia[]
- In The Sooga Showdown, it was shown that there was a large plus-sized maiden of the whole group. She mostly ate, belched or scolded Ssoso to "slow down". This is her only appearance.
