Invincible Vengeance is the second segment of the third episode of the second season and the twenty-ninth overall episode of the Pucca television series. It first aired on March 24, 2008.

Synopsis[]

Tobe turns to Master Hiel Kikyu to provide him the “ultimate ninja move” so he can defeat Garu. The money-loving master gladly sells him a variety of "techniques", though they don't actually help that much.

Plot[]

Tobe is practicing his fighting moves against one of his ninjas who is swearing a Garu mask. His unorthodox techniques aren't very successful and when Pucca mistakes his practice for attacking the real Garu, she sends him flying in defense.

Seeing that he needs better moves, Tobe prepares for the long trek up the mountain to Master Hiel Kikyu's lair for some training, though a convenient bus (driven by Santa) saves him a lot of walking. On the top of the mountain, the master himself is meditating over his love of money when Tobe arrives with a demand for the Ultimate Ninja Move. Master Hiel refuses to teach the dark ninja unless he can steal a rice ball from his head and while Tobe tries his best, the master outclasses him in every attempt. Instead, he offers an easier method: just buy a move off of him. Tobe goes along with this idea so Master Hiel offers him a move in the form of a deodorant stick, exchanging it for his money.

Sometime later, Tobe is doing another battle with Garu when he tries to deploy his new "Roll-On Power Punch". This involves putting on the very stinky deodorant and trying to attack Garu but the stench of it is too strong, getting into his eyes and blinding him. He wanders off a cliff and Garu is left disgusted, but unharmed.

Tobe returns to Master Hiel and angriy returns the useless deodorant. To this, Master Hiel offers another item: the Ruthless Lotus Destroyer, a flower which he promises contains "great power". Tobe is willing to try it, giving up more money to the greedy master.

When he next fights against Garu, Tobe tries to use the flower which shoots pollen at the pig-tailed ninja. This causes him to sneeze which blows the petals right off the lotus, rendering it useless. Pucca, who heard the sniffling, arrives with a tissue and Garu takes off running.

Tobe returns the flower stem to the master, now fed up with his tricks and refusing to pay for anymore. But Master Hiel reels him back in by declaring him ready for the Ultimate Ninja Move: the Breaking Wind Hurricane Palm Blast. This move is guaranteed to destroy his enemies, or he gets his money back. To demonstrate, the master goes through the intricate power-up motions and once he's fully charged, unleashes a hand-shaped energy blast that dents a nearby mountain. This is exactly what Tobe was looking for and he pays up for it.

Tobe has again picked a fight with Garu and in the middle of it, tries to use the Palm Blast. However, he has forgotten the power-up steps and is taking so much time fumbling, an aggravate Garu continues to beat on him which prevents him from actually casting the move. Eventually, Garu becomes so fed up he walks away, just as Tobe recalls the right steps. The dark ninja orders his minions to retrieve his enemy while he himself ready to make the strike. The group does not return and after a full year of waiting for them and holding the undeployed Palm Blast, Tobe wonders where they went to. The minion, off relaxing in a hot spring, have in fact completely forgotten about bringing Garu back to Tobe.

Garu himself is meditating when a surprise visit from Pucca sends him running off. While fleeing, he unintentionally returns to the place that Tobe was waiting, allowing the dark ninja to finally unleash the Breaking Wind Hurricane Palm Blast. Garu cowers from the incoming attack but Pucca swoops in to kiss him, putting herself in front of the blast. It strikes her but she holds up against it fine, leaving a Pucca shaped spot intact amongst the destruction. There is a burn on her shirt, however, which angers her enough to strike Tobe and send him flying again. He lands right back on Master Hiel Kikyu's palace and, very bruised, asks about the money back guarantee. The greedy master declares that he has no receipt and thus, will not get hos refund. Tobe faints, completely worn out.

Garu is again trying to flee from Pucca who uses her own version of the Breaking Wind Hurricane Palm Blast, to blow a heart shaped wind cage at the ninja. He is stuck inside and she jumps into it too, planting a kiss on him.

Trivia[]

  • Master Hiel Kikyu has shown that he loves to trick others to make a profit. In a normal sense for martial arts, this is dishonorable. He may know ninja skills and has the title of Master but, he is not considered honorable if more people knew the truth behind these actions.
