The Honey Bear is a new character for Netflix's Pucca: Love Recipe. Its given another appearance but it's called "Asiatic Bear" by Dandy. And was thought to be a helpful cure for a itch from a mosquito bite.
History[]
The Honey bear appears in episode 5, "Finding Honey Dumplings", when a customer requests something special to eat. The chefs believe honey dumplings would be a perfect request for the customer. They send Garu, Pucca, and Ching to the Blue Caves. The Honey Bear inhabiting it was said to have a map on its paw. The map would lead them to a very special honey to use for a dumpling recipe.
They at first don't find the bear, until they fall into a tunnel leading it to the bear's real home. They, along with Tobe and his ninjas soon face a hostile bear. Pucca sees some cave paintings, hinting the bear loves to dance to music. She's able to pacify the bear with music long enough to find the map.
The bear would appear again in "The Unbearable Itch". Dandy heard rumors that the bear's saliva could cure the chefs' mosquito bite. He tried putting honey on their bites, to make the bear lick their backs. However, the bear had no interest and stole the honeypot from Dandy.
