Synopsis[]
Ring Ring joins the Dragon Girls for the outfit and, more importantly, the badges. She attempts to earn more badges than Pucca, but it doesn’t go well for her.
Plot[]
Scout Master Destiny is leading the Dragon Girls troop (which includes Pucca and Ching) on a hike when Ring Ring happens to see them. She thinks very little of them until noticing the cuteness of their uniforms and deciding she wants one for herself. When she demands one from Destiny, he happily offer it to her, thinking she wants to join them. But she also wants more pretty badges than Pucca has and is confused when Destiny tells her she must earn them with good deeds. She at first refuses the idea of being nice but the allure of the uniform is too much and she accepts to join the troop. The scouts embrace their new member in a group hug, to her disgust, while Destiny leads them all to their first badge earning activity. Ring Ring goes along, determined to outdo Pucca.
The first activity is picking up litter, which disgusts Ring Ring to the point of wearing full hazmat gear. She struggles to pick up a single candy wrapper only to be interrupted as Pucca comes charging down the street, using her slipstream to pull all the trash (and Santa) into a garbage bag. Ring Ring sneakily trades bags with her to take the credit but as she runs off, she snags it on a briar and the trash falls out behind her. By the time she presents the bag to Destiny, it is empty and Pucca has already re-cleared the streets until they are spotless. Destiny congratulates the Dragon Girls and presents each one a badge, except for Ring Ring who will have to try again in the next activity.
The Dragon Girls have moved on to butterfly catching which Ring Ring discovers is a lot harder than it seems. Pucca excels at it so Ring Ring tries to thwart her by knocking down a bee hive. This panics the other girls but Bee Keeper Pucca comes to their rescue with some calming smoke. For this, she earns a Bee Keeping badge, to Ring Ring's fury (while her angry screaming wakes the bees and gets her stung).
In the evening time, the scouts have set up camp and demonstrate to Destiny their fire-making techniques. Pucca gets hers going easy and even roasts a few marshmallows for Destiny which he appreciates. Ring Ring is struggling and decides to cheat by using The Sauce of One Thousand Hot Peppers. This goes get her fire going but it also sets the entire campground on fire. To save them all, Pucca uses a dousing road to find an underground river, then cracks the ground so that it pours over the campground to put out the fire (and soak Ring Ring).
Destiny presents Pucca both her Water Dousing and Fire Safety badges while the other scouts cheer for her. This is the last straw for Ring Ring who declares she's had enough of their goody two-shoes act, the Dragon Girls, and especially of Pucca who she attacks. The two go crashing through the campground and though Pucca puts up a fight, Ring Ring knocks her silly among a pile of camping supplies. She gets it together in time to dodge Ring Ring's next charge but the other girl becomes tangled in the supplies. Now strapped to an inflatable raft, she tumbles down into the river and is swept away.
After a rough ride downstream, Ring Ring finally washes up on the river bank and is ready to give up. However, the Dragon Girls come to find her and Destiny present her a White Water Rafting badge. Delighted, Ring Ring goes into a long acceptance speech and doesn't notice a she is swept out into the river again. She screams for help but the scouts have gone into another sing-along and don’t hear her as she goes over the waterfall.
