Enter: Ring Ring is the 2nd segment of the 1st episode of Pucca: Love Recipe.
Synopsis[]
Fyah scrambles around Sooga Island to find a lost can given to them by Dong King while doing battle against the kleptomaniac Sooga Bird. Meanwhile, Garu finds himself stuck back to back with the prissy new arrival, Ring Ring, while on the run from Pucca.
Plot[]
Fyah stands before his minions while showing off the golden can from last episode. He comments that the previous cooking challenge against the Goh-Rong Restaurant was just a forerunner to their true purpose in Sooga, which he will reveal to them by pressing the button on the can. Before he can press it, his cellphone rings, startling him into dropping the can which rolls away. He and his cohorts desperately run after it but it rolls into the way of Pucca who is so focused on chasing Garu, she kicks the can further away. A strange duck-racoon creature catches it in its beak and while Fyah stops to question its zoology, it flies off with the item.
Fyah's phone rings again and he answers to yell at whoever has been pestering him. Turns out the caller is Ring Ring who is not pleased with his attitude but also demands that he come pick her up as she is stranded on Sooga Island. Fyah can't understand why she is on the island but must hang up as he has to track down the animal that has his can.
Ring Ring is in fact stranded on the island after what looks like her aircraft had crashed. She decides to wait for Fyah's rescue by taking a few selfies, only to be caught by a giant spider and pulled into its web.
At the same time, Garu tries to hide from Pucca at the top of a tree, though the delivery girl uses her lasso to drag the canopy to the ground. He flees deeper into the woods and runs into the same giant spider, though scares it off with his martial arts. But right after doing this and evading the detection of Pucca, he backs up into the web where Ring Ring is stuck. With his ninja stars he cuts the web down but there is still a piece between himself and Ring Ring which glues them back-to-back. Santa has also dropped from the web, similarly stuck to one of his reindeer. When they use force to separate themselves, it tears a hole into Santa's clothing to Ring Ring's distress. She proclaims she and Garu must not do the same.
Fyah has climbed up to the nest o the Sooga bird and found the can, but his operation is disturbed when Pucca bends his tree down to the ground. Seeing he isn't Garu, she releases the tree and the men are flung into the air along with their precious can.
Garu is walking with Ring Ring still stuck on his back. She sees Fyah's group flying but mistakes them for shooting stars and commands her unseen companion to go get them, though he refuses such a thing. The two bicker and accidentally roll down a hill where Garu allows Ring Ring to take all the impact with muddy puddles. The heiress of Dong King is furious and transforms, venting her anger by destroying the surrounding forest in a huge display of her powers. But though this does calm her down, Garu is not the least bit impressed which only furthers her hatred towards him.
Fyah's group has crash-lands and he's horrified to discover their can about to tip over a cliff. He tries to get it, but an untimely sneeze sends it down the cliff where it knock loose a giant boulder. Pucca is wandering by still on the hunt for Garu when the boulder comes right at her.
Ring Ring, being carried once again, panics at the sight of the incoming boulder but Garu is more frightened to see Pucca running on top of it. The boy takes off down the hill, which proves difficult with Ring Ring. They run into a drop off and fall over the side, the boulder getting stuck on the trees which also sends Pucca down. As they fall, Ring Ring uses her hair to let them land safely, which does impress Garu. However, Pucca has also caught up to them and Ring Ring questions who the "drab, barbaric girl" is. Garu tries to leap them away but Pucca grabs Ring Ring, causing their web-coating to stretch which would rip their clothes to Ring Ring's distress.
Somewhere nearby, the Sooga Bird locates the runaway can and readies to take it, only to be confronted by Fyah wielding a lightsaber. The bird refuses to be intimidated and takes out a set of nunchucks with which it disarms Fyah, sending the lightsaber flying.
Just as Ring Ring is about to be "detached" from Garu, the rogue lightsaber cuts right through the web, letting the girl and boy be safely separated with both outfits intact. Now that they can see one another, Ring Ring falls immediately in love with Garu's handsomeness and declares he can be her boyfriend. This does not please the ninja boy and he tries to get away from her by climbing a tree, though she follows right after him. Just as she did to Fyah, Pucca bends the tree down to her level and snags Garu, then releases it so that Ring Ring flies off into the distance. Pucca can finally get the kiss she wanted, to Garu's annoyance.
Fyah and his associates return to their original spot, the wounded Fyah clutching the can even as the Sooga bird is clinging to him. He readies to finally give the big declaration to their group's true identity, only to have Ring Ring land right on top of him. She is uninjured from the flight and promptly declares to her subordinates that she'll be living in Sooga Island, then takes the can from Fyah to press the button herself. The Can transforms into a building which will be the one millionth Dong King Restaurant.
