The Cuckoo bird is a minor character for episode Cuckoo Love. Ching's father Chang, bought the bird with the clock it came with. Won and the bird instantly fell in love. They ran off, leaving Ching alone and weakened. While Ching and her friends look for Won, its shown in the episode that the birds soon drift. The cuckoo is rude, immature, and flirts with other birds; this makes Won angry and jealous. Eventually the bird leaves Won for a mandarin female duck. The pair are seen living in the clock together.
