Chef-Napped! Part 3 is the third segment of the sixth episode of the second season and the thirty-second overall episode of the Pucca television series. It first aired on June 5, 2008.
Synopsis[]
Pucca and Garu escape their prison while Abyo and Destiny head back to Sooga Village. It's time to find out who's been taking chefs, once and for all.
Plot[]
Santa starts the show where the last episode left off.
Pucca and Garu are trying to escape from their volcanic trap but the trench coat man declares there's no way out for them. He calls for the elevator to take him up to his lair, though is at first crushed when it comes down on his head.
Abyo sneaks up on the person he thought was the suspect but was really Destiny in a trench coat, embarrassed to be seen as his scales still haven't grown back (from where he was mobbed by fans in Las Vegas). The two are suddenly ambushed by three ninjas though they prove incredibly easy to defeat. Even when one tries to multiply himself with magic, he makes very tiny clones that Abyo shoos off. They unmask the trio as the Vagabond Ninja Clan and while Destiny's fire scares off Chief and Shaman, Abyo interrogates Clown. The non-comedian lets slip the chefs are all back in Sooga Village before using a seltzer bottle to slip away.
Back to Pucca and Garu, Garu uses his sword to free them of their cage, then uses the rocks as stepping stones across the lava. Pucca expresses her gratitude with unwanted affection and after failing to call down the elevator, Garu starts climbing up the shaft. However, the lava pool has suddenly become active, allowing Pucca to ride a piece of rock up the shaft, grabbing Garu along the way.
Abyo implores Destiny to take them to Sooga and though the dragon refuses, not wanting people to see his scales, Abyo reminds him that these are his fans who need him. This inspires Destiny, giving him the power to grow all his scales back and whisk Abyo back to Sooga Village.
The captured chefs are frightened by a mountain of explosives with a clock ticking down, but when it gets to zero, they realize it was never attached to anything. They watch as a man in a fish costume runs out of the pile, which Ho identifies as a "red herring".
Abyo and Destiny arrive to Sooga just as a nearby volcano erupts, launching Pucca and Garu through the air.
The chefs are preparing a banquet for their captors which the trench coat man checks over until being startled by "incoming projectiles". These are in fact Pucca and Garu who come crashing through the Goh-Rong and into the secret basement, landing right on the trench coat man. The chefs and Ching greet their rescuers while the trench coat man is revealed to have been Dada all along. Abyo comes to interrogate the busboy though Bruce arrives to take over, backed by his Las Vegas showgirl associates. Dada proclaims he wanted revenge against the chefs for not taking him to Las Vegas, but pleads that he was only a pawn.
The Hooded Boss reveals herself to be Ring Ring and declares her motivations simple: she was mad that she didn't get noodles when she wanted them, thus captured chefs to make them for her alone. Uncle Dumpling declares this a selfish goal while Ho calls it fattening, though they and Linguini let Dada take the hit when Ring Ring overhears this.
The girl also admits her other reason was to hurt Pucca and the noodle girl responds by launching her up to ground-level Sooga Village for a battle. The two go at it, evenly matched until Ring Ring catches Pucca with her hair and sonic screaming. Garu tries to enter the battle but when he accidently slashes mud on Ring Ring's dress, he cowers from the fury she's ready to unleash on him. This is the distraction Pucca needs to turn the tables and throw Ring Ring into the sky, winning the fight.
Pucca embraces Garu in her thanks and Bruce comes to congratulate them for rescuing everyone. His Las Vegas associates rip off their showgirl disguises and reveal themselves as male government agents (to Bruce's shock), likewise thanking the group for solving their case so everyone can enjoy noodles once more.
The moment is interrupted by the arrival of a mech operated by Dada who is ready to take his revenge. Luckily, Ring Ring lands right on top of him and the robot collapses. The two are finally defeated and while Garu is glad this is the end, Pucca catches him for a kiss. All's well that ends well.
