Chef-Napped! Part 1 is the first segment of the sixth episode of the second season and the thirty-second overall episode of the Pucca television series. It first aired on June 5, 2008.
Synopsis[]
Pucca's friends and uncles go to Las Vegas for a noodle convention. However, all the chefs (including Pucca’s uncles) get kidnapped by a mysterious guy. It’s up to Pucca and her friends to save them.
Plot[]
Ring Ring comes to the Goh-Rong Restaurant for food, only to find the chefs closing up shop. They are heading to the World's Chef Convention and though she demands food, the best they can offer is their apologies which she responds to with her sonic scream.
Ignoring this, the chefs plus Pucca, Garu, Abyo, and Ching all hop aboard Destiny's back for the trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. Dada comes running up, wanting to come along, but the chefs declare he will be staying behind to clean the restaurant. They all fly away and the busboy storms off angry. Ring Ring is still furious that they didn’t heed her "noodle needs".
In Las Vegas, the chefs are in their booth and wow the crowd with their cooking techniques. Destiny heads off to find some musical entertainment with the girls tagging along. The boys are more interested in sampling the free food at the convention.
At the Iceland booth, they pick up some frozen noodle-cicles though are subjected to brain freeze as their tongues are stuck. While the boys suffer, a mysterious figure in a trench coat is watching them, telling someone over an intercom to "commence operation". As Garu and Abyo leave to find warmer food, they miss a group of ninjas propelling from the ceiling to kidnap the Iceland chef. At the Mexico stall, Abyo dares Garu to try spicy chili noodles but they are too hot for the two. Again, they don’t notice as ninjas take away the Mexico chef, too concern with cutting open a cactus to quench their thirst. They move along with her noodle tour as the mysterious trench coat person laughs sinisterly.
Destiny and the girls have found a music performance but are not impressed with the current pianist or his attempt at scat. Ching tells Destiny he should perform instead, an idea the dragon seems interested in.
Garu and Abyo have found the France stall with their stinky cheese noodles and once again dare each other to try them. This time, they notice once he chef disappears. Bruce arrives to the scene in the company of two showgirls -- his Vegas associates -- and tell the boys more chefs have gone missing. They take get a hair sample from Abyo as evidence, then head off.
Destiny shoves aside the musician and takes over the stage, giving a much more entertaining performance. So much so that the females of the audience have fallen completely in love with him, throwing him their undergarments and going so far as to maul him. They are only satisfied after running off with most of his scales, leaving the dragon near nude. While he runs off to hide, the boys come to tell the girl that chefs are being kidnapped. Pucca immediately goes to check on her uncles and is relieved to find them alright. The trench coat person, who was secretly watching the Goh-Rong owners until the kids arrived, remarks to his intercom person that they will need backup. The hooded Boss--seen stroking a dog who looks just like Yuni--sends in a group of ninjas to surround the group.
The Sooga group fight their hardest, but in the pandemonium, all three chefs are captured and whisked away. Bruce and his associates return, one show girl taking hair and feather from Ching and Won, while Pucca weeps over her uncles' cooking utensils.
