Baby New Year is a newborn baby owl that replaces Father Time every New Year.
Biography[]
Baby New Year is first seen in episode "No Year's Eve". He was due to be Father Time's replacement. The Goddess of Baby Deliveries was supposed to bring him to Master Soo; however, Muji, hoping to prevent his aging, had the young owlet quickly kidnapped by his zombies.
Though the plan worked, it had drawbacks. As Muji and his zombies couldn't calm the baby, he mostly cried or needed a changing, much to their disgust. Eventually Pucca, Abyo, Ching, and Garu came to the infant's aid and retrieved him.
He was put in Father Time's place and in addition was to choose the "new year". Saying his first word "Pucca", after his rescuer, Master Soo declared it "Year of Pucca".
