Ayo (에이요, Eiyo) is the kind and overly honest nephew of Fyah. He appears in the Netflix show Pucca: Love Recipe. He visits Sooga Island to spend his summer vacation with his uncle, much to his uncle's surprise and a bit annoyance. Ayo is somewhat neutral- he does what Ring Ring orders him to and assists in hers and Fyah's schemes, though he doesn't seem to take joy out of it.
Biography[]
Ayo first appeared in "The Bodyguard Contest", when he came unannounced to spend summer vacation with his uncle. His most outstanding feature is that he's always bluntly honest, something that annoys both Fyah and Ring Ring. Ring Ring mostly due to his honesty always blows her "secret" crush on Garu or her plans when she's up to mischief.
Aside from aiding their mischievous schemes, he's mostly harmless and just tries to do what he's told. He's often friendly and always with a smile. His main job seems to be catering to Ring Ring so Fyah can avoid her.
In "Love Bracelet", he is shown to have a bit of a devious side, as he apparently once gave a "love bracelet" to his ex-girlfriend Amy to make her "hung up" on him. In this episode he gives Ring Ring this information so she can force Garu to love her.
Ayo does continue to act civilly toward Pucca and the rest of the group, even playing basketball with them. Even when losing, he takes it in stride. His relationship with Ring Ring sometimes wavers from lackey to possible love interest. Unlike other characters, he rarely gets hurt by Ring-Ring during her fits or doing what she orders, and he doesn't seem to fear her. He's even seen dancing with her in one episode.
In "Love Soup", the two come under the effects of a "love soup's" aroma, causing the two to become a couple. After the effects had worn off, both were shocked to find themselves so close to one another, although Ayo seemed much more so, and actually spat his soda on her out of revulsion. Though she tossed him away thereafter (causing him some injuries later, he quickly got over it and went on to comfort his equally revolted uncle, taking the incident in stride.)
