Abra-Ca-Pucca is the second segment of the thirteenth episode of the second season and the thirty-ninth overall episode of the television show Pucca. It first aired on August 11, 2008.

Synopsis[]

Garu falls into a run-away magician's hat, leaving Pucca to chase it all over Sooga Village. On top of that, a love-spelled Abyo has his eyes set on Pucca while inside the hat, Garu is caught by a love-struck bunny.

Plot[]

At the Goh-Rong Restaurant, Pucca and friends are enjoying a meal when Santa takes the stage to entertain everyone with a magic show. Pucca and Ching find his tricks funny but Abyo is not so impressed, especially with the very cliché rabbit out of the hat. For his grand finale, Santa readies to make a Christmas tree disappear but drops his wand, making the spell hit him instead. The jolly man vanishes and the crowd is impressed, applauding his magic.

With the magic show now over, the kids investigate the leftover props. Ching suggests to Pucca that the magic wand might let her cast a love spell on Garu which the noodle girl immediately tries to do. The ninja boy leaps away and bumps into Abyo who places Santa's magic hat on his head, proposing he might disguise himself as a hat rack. Just as Pucca is firing another spell, Garu is sucked into the hat and the spell goes on to hit Abyo instead. The Kung Fu fighter is overcome with lovey feelings and while Ching is eager to received them, he is actually targeting Pucca. He sweeps her off her feet with a pick-up line but she throws him away in disgust and goes to check the hat. Garu is gone.

In the world within the hat, Santa - who was sucked in during his show - is very confused by his location. He is quickly surrounded by a gang of rabbits, led by a very large female bunny who complains about always being used in his magic tricks. As they prepare to beat him up, Garu comes crashing down between them. Though the lady bunny is at first angered, she sees the pig-tailed boy and mistakes him for a vey handsome rabbit who she falls instantly in love with. The moment is ruined, though, when a giant hand descends on them, forcing the group to flee. The hand belongs to Pucca as she is trying to get Garu out of the hat, but as reaching and even shaking it fails, she zaps it with the magician's wand. This gives the hat some sentience and it bounces away, forcing her to give chase. Love-struck Abyo is still trying to hang onto her but she runs him over. Ching questions Abyo's insanity but as he also takes off after Pucca, she decides she must get that wand for herself to get her Abyo back to normal.

Pucca continues to chase the run-away hat, trying to zap it with the magician's wand. She misses every time and ends up frying Ring Ring's hair, turning Yani into a lion to chase the Cat Clan, and changing a frog into a prince with less than charming results. Inside the hat, the entire world is spinning while the lady bunny clings to Garu, asking him to save her.

The hat finally comes to a rest beside of a tree and inside the hat, everything is calm. As the female bunny continues to cuddle with the unwilling Garu, Santa offers to give them privacy and wanders away only to come back right where he was. There is no way for them to leave the hat, a fact that leaves Garu screaming in horror. The hat jumps into a hollow tree and when Pucca tries to pull it out, she gets Abyo instead, who shows off the tattoo of her face he has on his chest. She isn't interested in his flirting and blasts him away with the wand. She goes into the tree again but this time pulls out Ching, sweetly asking to borrow the wand but she too is cast aside. Pucca reaches into the tree for a third time, getting a rope of handkerchiefs that ends with Abyo again. She's so angry, she punts him out of the woods while the hat escapes and she must track it down again.

Pucca is forced on an exhausting climb up a mountain, to the top where there are three giant turtles shells. The hat hides under one and the shells shuffle themselves around to hide its location. Pucca checks under each one but finds Abyo serenading her, Ching still asking to see the wand, and a turtle taking a bath. The hat jumps out of the tub and gets away by diving off the mountain. Pucca follows, using the wand to give herself a parachute. The world in the magic hat is spinning, which makes it hard for Santa to officiate the wedding of the lady rabbit and unwilling Garu.

The hat makes a safe landing, followed by Pucca, who readies to zap it with the wand and free Garu. Unfortunately, Abyo swoops in and pulls her into a dance that has her firing spells all over the place. Ching is quick to cut in, taking Abyo and the wand while Pucca is left dizzy. She snaps out of it in time to catch the hat before it can hop away again but Abyo returns and finally manages to kiss her. The sight of this enrages Ching and she starts firing spell at Abyo who seems to have finally ben cured of his love spell and flees.

Pucca ignores her friends and, flipping the hat over, she starts shaking it. Everyone falls out including the lady rabbit who is still holding a struggling Garu. She asks Pucca to leave them alone to have their wedding and then kisses him right in front of her. The enraged noodle girl punches her, sending her up into the air where a stray shot from Ching with the wand turns the rabbit into a chocolate bunny, to Santa's delight.

Ching tries to fire another spell at Abyo but notes the wand has became jammed. The magic goes haywire and zaps everyone in the area into rabbits. Abyo complains but Ching insists he looks adorable and catches him for a kiss. Rabbit-Pucca is likewise chasing after Rabbit-Garu, who tries to hide in various rabbit holes only for Pucca to already be there to kiss on him.
